A while ago I posted this image in a post:

Now I know I've posted this as a comment to several of you to try and cheer you up. But recently someone said that it didn't quite make sense to her. Now most of the things I post don't have any sense to them but I decided that I should give you all some context for this image.
Thus I present to you Marvel Adventures Ant-Man!:
Poor Henry Pym isn't having a very good day. He spent all of his money trying pitch his invention ( a helmet that lets him talk to ants) to a big company (they didn't go for it) and he's close to getting kicked out of his apartment.

Ant generations last more than three weeks. But I'm willing to let it slide in the name of humor.

That is a great security system right there.

Why is it that the evil leaders always seem to look so different from their foot solders? I really do enjoy this comic but that won't keep me from poking fun at it.

So they're running out of room and making themselves bigger will help? His plan to gain power sounds awfully familiar...

So many in-jokes!

You made the girl I have a crush on cry. You bastard!

I question myself like this a lot of the time.

I wonder if I can get Rupert to sing me some encouragement? At least I don't have to worry about him thwarting me with song.

That poor janitor.
Well he saves the day but he worries what this technology can do in the wrong hands so he can't sell it. Which means he's out on the street. Unless...

The hero always gets the princess!
Over all it's a great issue though I like regular continuity better where Pym creates the growing/shrinking ability himself. What do all of you think? Does context help the panel?
Also since this is a heroic story:

And I realized I know too much about ants when I laughed at "Freedom! Terrible, terrible freedom!"
