Well I'm not dead.

Although you wouldn't know it from the lack of comments and entries I've been posting. I got really busy with work and well time slipped by me. But I'm back now and ready to entertain all of you!
First up I've been doing some plant stuff:
At one of the shows I worked I got a bunch of plants that were going to be thrown out.

I gathered up a bunch of moss. I hope I can get it to grow.

All of the instructions I found online said to grind it up in a blender with either beer or buttermilk and pour the goop where you want the moss to grow. First I don't want to waste a blender and second that doesn't sound like a way to grow moss so much as a way to kill it to death.

This moss is like a shag carpet.
I also got some regular plants.

I'm not sure what this one is it was a little damaged but I hope it will pull through.

These are four separate plants called Silver dust.

This one is really small and it keeps getting knocked over.
I also found this thing:

I don't have a clue. Any ideas?
There were a lot of plants just laying around. Some were yanked out of pots and others were just dieing from neglect. I also saw some huge watermelons and pumpkins smashed open for no reason. I hate seeing all the waste after a show.
Anyway I set up a tank for the moss:

close up I used the dirt from that garden I tried to grow awhile back. That didn't work out but it came in handy for this project.
I spent a good chunk of today replanting or fixing most of my plants. Here are two pots that I have with a bunch of seeds I collected over time:

They're probably considered weeds but I like them. They're easy to care for.

In other news I continue to buy more books even though I have plenty to read already. Speaking of books if you're interested I have some sort of reviews for comics up here:
It came from the 50 cent bin!
Part 1 of The Shield
Part 2 of The Shield
I had more to say but I can't remember it now so I leave you with this video:
